Already well known as a retiree hotspot, Tweed Heads has a new operator in town.
With its recent acquisition of the St Cuthbert’s Retirement Living Complexes, respected NSW operator Adventist Senior Living, brings its commitment to care to the heart of the Tweed for the very first time.
Bordered by the meandering waterways of Terranora Creek and the Tweed River the 76 villa retirement village has been officially rebranded as Tweed Heads Lifestyle Community, bringing the not for profit Adventist Senior Living stable of independent living villages across northern NSW to five.
“We are committed to keeping retirement living options affordable outside of the capital cities”, says Adventist Senior Living CEO David Knight. “We recognize Tweed Heads as a great location for retirees. Not only does the region have some of the best coastlines and national parks, with fantastic all year round weather, but it also offers ample retirement choice that ensures many affordable options for retirees”, he added.
Thanking former operator the Anglican Diocese of Grafton for their terrific 40 year contribution to the Tweed Heads community, David added that Adventist Senior Living plan to bring its own 60 year reputation for quality service, community connection, great care and easy retirement living to continue that good work.
“Tweed Heads is a beautiful, well run village with great staff and an equally great group of residents. We look forward to introducing them to our intentional culture and our respected history of care. Our continued growth is great validation of the way we operate and the services we offer”, says David.
Under the sale all 96 residents will retain their current homes and village contracts. Residents will also enjoy the future rollout of additional services, including Home Care with both private services and funded packages.
