Brief description of role
We are seeking to appoint an Office Coordinator, working across 2 accommodation sites. The successful applicant will be responsible for the smooth running the main office, handling bookings for events and accommodation, and presenting a welcoming face to a repeat client base of 2,500- 3000 people.

Essential Criteria

  • Previous experience in running an office, organising events and/or facilitating bookings with a focus on continuous improvement and best practice
  • Relevant qualifications and/or extensive experience
  • A demonstrated ability to manage resources effectively with a focus on outcomes and sustainability
  • Proven analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Well-developed verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • High level of computer literacy with advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, website and social media
  • A proven commitment to providing excellent customer service and to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven people skills and the ability to work with a diverse range of people
  • Demonstrated commitment to continual development of skills and knowledge
  • Have an understanding of, commitment to, and support the values, ethos and mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience at improving processes to achieve organisational success
  • Experience in providing mentoring to facilitate best practice principles
  • Previous experience identifying, managing and monitoring risks
  • Experience coordinating and implementing events and facilitating change
