General North New South Wales Conference Information Collection Notice – New Employee

  1. The Seventh-day Adventist Church, (North New South Wales Conference) Ltd collects personal information, including sensitive information about new employees before and during the course of their employment. This may be in writing or in the course of conversations. The primary purpose of collecting this information is to enable the North New South Wales Conference to facilitate and administer your involvement with the organisation.
  2. Some of the information the North New South Wales Conference collects is to satisfy the North New South Wales Conference’s legal obligations, including its workplace health and safety duty of care.
  3. Laws governing or relating to child protection require certain information to be collected and disclosed.
  4. In order to place you on the payroll as an employee of the North New South Wales Conference, you consent to our collecting personal information about you from law enforcement agencies for criminal checks and working with children checks, educational institutions to verify your qualifications.
  5. The personal information we collect about you will be stored securely in the organisations payroll records.
  6. The North New South Wales Conference may disclose personal and sensitive information for administrative, educational and support purposes (or may permit the information to be directly collected by third parties). This may include to:

  • people providing administrative and financial services to the North New South Wales Conference;
