Equipment Hire Request

The NNSW Youth Department loves to support churches and schools to have fun while reaching young people for Jesus. The items we have available for hire are available for these purposes. Items are not available for hire to an individual.
Conditions of Hire
Overview:
• Hire charges are for the agreed period of time.
• Additional charges will automatically be issued if items are not returned by the end date of the hire.
• Please do not lend any items to another church/school or person/s as YOU are responsible for any damages and returns.
• Damages other than fair wear and tear will be charged at the discretion of the Youth Department.
• Please note that a charge will be incurred if items are not returned clean in the same condition as when initially hired.
• If the items are returned by someone other than yourself and they are damaged during transportation, the responsibility will remain with you as the person hiring.

In more detail:
1. Identification and Contact Information: The renter must provide valid identification and contact details, including name, address, phone number, and email.
2. Agreement to Terms: The renter must agree to all terms and conditions outlined in the rental agreement before hiring the equipment.
3. Rental Period: The duration for which the equipment is rented, including start and end dates, should be clearly specified. Additional charges may apply for exceeding the agreed rental period.
4. Responsibility for Care: The renter is responsible for the proper care and safekeeping of the equipment during the rental period. Any damage or loss incurred may result in additional charges.
5. Prohibited Use: The renter must agree not to use the equipment for any illegal, hazardous, or unauthorized purposes.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning: The renter may be required to maintain and clean the equipment as specified in the rental agreement. Failure to do so may result in additional fees.
7. Late Fees: Additional charges may apply if the equipment is returned late or if payment is overdue.
8. Liability Waiver: The rental agreement may include a liability waiver, releasing the NNSW Youth Department from responsibility for any injuries or damages resulting from the use of the equipment.
9. Condition on Return: The equipment must be returned in the same condition as it was received, normal wear and tear excepted. Any damages beyond normal wear and tear may incur repair or replacement costs.
10. Indemnification: The renter may be required to indemnify the rental company against any claims, losses, or damages arising from the use or misuse of the equipment during the rental period.

Specific items:
Pinnacle: This item is only hired with a person that has been approved by the NNSW Youth Department. Hirer may need to supply three additional people with ropes qualification.

Troopie: The renter must provide valid identification and contact details, including name, address, phone number, email, age and driver’s license. Hirer must be 25+. This vehicle is insured. If damage occurs, there will be an excess to pay of $1200. Return with a full tank of premium fuel.

Boat: All boat hire requires a conference approved boat driver. Hire may be subject to the availably of approved drivers. Hire of the boat includes the costs of transportation and accommodation (if needed) for the driver. Boat gear (life-jackets, wakeboards, knee-boards & ski's) is included in the boat hire. This does not include biscuit hire. Return with a full tank of diesel fuel.

Trailers: All of our trailers are insured. If damaged, there is an insurance excess of $800 to be paid by the hirer.

Jumping and Jousting Castles: If not being used within an enclosed building, they must be properly secured to the ground with the pegs that are supplied. Must not be used in winds over 25km/per hour. Injuries occurred are the responsibility of the hirer.
