Depression Recovery Training Programs

As the restrictions around COVID-19 relaxes, it becomes the ideal time to assist the community struggling with mental health issues e.g. Depression and Anxiety.  Depression and Anxiety has been identified as the # 1 new pandemic to hit the world.

There are two Nedley Depression and Anxiety Recovery Training programs happening this month. One will be held at Raymond Terrace June 19-21 and the second at Alstonville 26-28 June. For those living far away, we will provide a Zoom link (this will only be able to be done if individuals can notify David Haupt at [email protected] of their remote attendance).

Promote this program, or even recommend this program to individuals whom you feel has the capacity and skillset to provide such an essential ministry.

The program schedule for the weekend will be as follow:

  • Friday evening 7pm – 9pm – Missional & Spiritual motivation to why we should run the DARP program
  • Sabbath 9:30 am – 6:00 pm Spiritual and Psychological challenges that Depressed people face and Biblical answers in response to those issues.
  • Sunday 9:00am – 3 pm – Associate Director and Facilitator Training – Demonstration on how to run the program.

Please note the following:

  • Due to restrictions still in place, we will not be able to accommodate more than 25 people on site – so please ask your members interested to let me know of their interest.
  • Meals will not be provided, so we are asking for people to bring their own pack-meals
  • Those that register for Associate Director, please bring a USB-flash drive.
  • If members want to log in via Zoom, let them notify me so that a link can be sent to them.

Please request your members to register prior to the weekend
