WHS In The Local Church

Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) sometimes called Occupational Health and Safety, involves the management of risk to the health of everyone in your workplace. This includes the health and safety of anyone who works for you as well as your volunteers, customers, visitors, contactors and suppliers.

This learning tool will help every local church and ministry with the skills and knowledge to identify risk and administer controls to mitigate the risk.

It is the intention of the Seventh-day Adventist Church (North New South Wales Conference) to provide a platform for volunteers to learn the basic skills that are relevant to churches. This is NOT a certified WHS qualification (such as for employment purpose), but a learning tool designed to promote health and safety awareness in our churches.

There are 5 parts to this tool and on completion you will be invited to register for a certificate of completion. Thank you for taking the time to make your church the safest environment to worship and serve God.
